Adjara. In relation to
the International Human Rights Day, the Batumi Civic Engagement Center and the
Georgian Young Lawyers' Association have jointly organized a public discussion
on December 10 on the "Problems and challenges of human rights protection
in the region".The rights of women, youngsters, religious and ethnic
minorities and persons with disabilities and the right to accessible, quality
healthcare – were the issues that the meeting participants discussed and outlined the
human rights situation in Adjara.Representatives of the Adjara AR Government, NGO and
media organizations have participated in the discussion.
