Tbilisi. Georgian Young Lawyers' Association responds to the statement of the Minister of Defense, made to the media regarding the issue of special polling stations.

''It is unfortunate that in the absence of counter-arguments, the state authorities attempt to abuse and to discredit business authority of non-governmental organizations and their representatives. It is especially unfortunate when this is done by former representatives of non-governmental sector.

We are permanently ready to hold subjective discussion with any representative or entity of the government, but the attempt to silence non-governmental organizations is unacceptable, regardless the manner it is performed'' - is noted in the statement of the organization.
