EMC responds to possible existence of ''ODR'' at the TSU
Tbilisi. The Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) responds to the events developed at the Tbilisi State University.
"The events developed over the last days, including possible fact of employment of a security service representative at the State University and his attempt to perform active influence on the university/academic and management processes are particularly alarming in the education system. Educational institutions do not constitute the subjects of a special security regime by their nature and they have to be completely free of such police control mechanisms" – is noted in the statement of the organization.
