Module V of Result-oriented Project Management…

The Civil Society Institute held the fifth – ''Participatory Facilitation'' module in Gori, Kutaisi and Batumi for the representatives of organizations selected within the frames of the ''Result-oriented Project Management'' program. The aim of the working meeting was to let the participants obtain knowledge about the importance of a participatory approach and the role of a facilitator.
During two days, the representatives of civil society organizations broadened their knowledge and through the practical examples overviewed levels of participation, a goal, limitations, had discussions about skills and competences necessary for a facilitator, got familiarized with basic principles of working meeting, while through the situational exercises they analyzed complications of a participatory facilitation and defined mechanisms of holding a meeting effectively.
Within the frames of the program, the representatives of civil society organizations have already been trained in the following fields: ''systemic change'', ''selection of indicators'', ''project cycle management'', ''monitoring and evaluation''.
The ''Result-oriented Project Management'' program has been worked out under the guidance of an invited international expert and is designed on the basis of modern methods and standards. Financial support of the program is provided by the ''Bread for the World''.
