Tbilisi. Non-governmental organizations call on political parties to not miss the chance of improvement of the electoral system, to participate in the discussion on the bill at the parliamentary session and to support its adoption.

''On the first of June, the Legal Affairs Committee of the Parliament has discussed through the first reading and voted for the bill, which envisages replacement of the existing electoral system with a modified version of the so-called German model. Mentioned bill creates a real opportunity of improvement of the electoral system before the 2016 elections. The change will make the electoral system far more fair, in particular, the will of voters will be reflected in parliamentary mandates with more proportion'' – is stated on the web-page of the organization.
