Tbilisi. The Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) was representing G.G. in court, who had been permanently residing in the municipality of Akhalgori since 2006.

''Based on the order of the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia of June 20, 2014, G.G. was deprived of a status of displaced on the grounds that he had obtained the status via forging documents and information. Based on the decision of the Tbilisi City Court of June 9, 2015, the order of the Minister has been recognized void and the status of G.G. has been reinstated'' – is noted on the website of the organization.
