Women members of a cooperative are preparing for the economic activity
Tbilisi. On August 10, within the framework of the Women’s Information Center project ''Empowered Women for Peace and Development'', the three-day training was conducted for women members of a cooperative.
''With the support of the U.S. Department of State, within the framework of the project, women will buy poultry, cattle and bees, produce dried fruits and dairy products and sell them on a local market. The three-day training aims at educating those particular women members of a cooperative who, upon returning back home, intend to start an independent economic activity'' – is stated on the website of the organization in a social network.
