Tbilisi. On September 6, 2016, the Public Defender’s Consultative Council for Monitoring the Promotion, Protection and Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities held its seventh working meeting.

''Ucha Nanuashvili said that a meeting of similar format was aimed at informing stakeholders of the activities of the Consultative Council, as well as their involvement in the ongoing processes. Activities planned and implemented for the monitoring of the implementation, promotion and protection of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities were discussed at the meeting. The invited members of the Council presented reports on their participation in the Council activities,'' is noted in the statement.
