How to develop CSR Strategy

Tbilisi. Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) on June 30, organized full-day training for 21 local and international businesses on how to develop Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy for their businesses. Training was held within the framework of Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative, supported by the European Union in Georgia.
''Event was supported by Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. This was the first of the series of trainings #and other capacity-building activities on CSR to be offered by CSRDG within the framework of the EU-funded Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative (2017-2020). The project is implemented by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in cooperation with Civil Society Institute #CSI, Center for Training and Consultancy #CTC, Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia #CSRDG and Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center #KEDEC. It aims to improve environment for the civil society in Georgia, by empowering civil society organizations and actors, and increasing their accountability towards citizens. As a result of the initiative, Georgian organizations will become more sustainable and benefit from diversified sources of funding. With total budget of 5.07 Million EUR (EU contribution of 3.8 Million EUR), the project plans to implement over 110 activities focused especially on the regions of Georgia, and young people; it will award up to 79 sub-grants and engage more than 5000 civil society actors across the country'', is noted in the statement.
