NGO: Joint evaluation of proposed amendments to the Law on Broadcasting
Tbilisi. Civil society organizations respond to a bill, which has been initiated at the Parliament of Georgia and envisages amendments to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting.
''We consider that proposed amendments imply derailment of Public Broadcaster activities from wide range of regulation of public legislation, as well as worsening of an accountability standard of the Broadcaster...'' - is noted in the joint statement.
