Tbilisi. The Public Defender of Georgia is echoing the statements posted by the organizers of the movement Georgian March on social network that contained insult and alleged threat against a young woman.
''The Public Defender expresses his concern about the use of obvious misogynic and hate speech that further complicates the difficult situation of gender equality in the country. At the same time, he calls on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure timely and efficient conduct of the ongoing investigation into the alleged threat'', is noted in the statement.
