Promoting and Protecting Sustainable Human Rights Environment in Europe
On the occasion of its General Assembly Meeting, the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions, ENNHRI, while talking about the role of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) to promote and protect a sustainable human rights environment in Europe.
The General Assembly mentioned that the activities of the national human rights institutions are suffering severe criticism by the state authorities in some countries, including in Georgia, putting at risk the public confidence in both the institutions and the individuals.
The Public Defender of Georgia took part in the General Assembly Meeting.
