Georgia. With the support of EU, a series of regional workshops on rural development are planned in Georgia. The objective of these workshops is to promote the rural development policy agenda of Georgia through building capacity of high-level officials of local self-government bodies to foster enhanced, strategic and effective approaches to sustainable rural development in Georgia.

Workshops are planned in Kvemo Kartli (Rustavi, 7 March), Shida Kartli (Gori, 9 March), Samtskhe-Javakheti (Akhaltsikhe, 16 March), Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti (Zugdidi, 21 March), Guria (Ozurgeti, 22 March), Autonomous Republic of Ajara (Batumi, 23 March), Imereti (Kutaisi, 26 March), Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti (Ambrolauri, 27 March), Mtskheta-Mtianeti (Mtskheta, 29 March) and Kakheti (Telavi, 2 April).
