Tbilisi. The Coalition for Euro-Atlantic Georgia publishes a statement regarding a Russian media forum that takes place in Tbilisi.

"The Russian media forum is another demonstration of the Russian hybrid war in Georgia”, - the statement reads, - "Georgia has repeatedly become a target of aggressive steps of Russia, as a result of which one fifth of territory of the country is occupied by Russia. Besides, the Russian Federation actively uses "soft power” to achieve its strategic objectives in Georgia, which fact reflects in aggressive media propaganda, creation of non-governmental organizations and foundations as well as carrying out various kinds of forums. One of the main purposes of these activities is enhancement of anti-Western sentiments within the society and further more polarization of the population of Georgia”.
