GYLA and EMC evaluate developments at the Public Broadcasting

Tbilisi. The Georgian Young Lawyers' Association (GYLA) and Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) evaluate processes related to new agreements, offered to employees of the Public Broadcasting, and developments in that regard.
"In the absence of a foreseeable labor policy and employee appraisal system, it is absolutely vague on the basis of which criteria were selected those employees, who received a proposal from the management regarding significant deterioration of labor conditions. Besides, current developments at the Public Broadcasting show that processes of significant deterioration of labor conditions of employees do not affect only up to 70 employees and the management of the Broadcasting initiated processes with a similar purpose against employees of public radio and broadcaster projects "Study of public-political programs” and "Media monitoring and analysis” before September”, - is noted in the statement released by the organizations.
