Transparency International Georgia presented recommendations in regard to draft amendments to regulations of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.

The recommendations were about strengthening a supervisory function of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and increasing the role of the opposition, as well as issues related to openness, transparency and accountability of the Council.

''Our opinions regarding the event carried out in Batumi were presented by Lika Sajaia, the parliamentary secretary of the organization. After the presentation, there was conducted a discussion between deputies of the Supreme Council and representatives of civil society sector'', - is stated on the website of the organization in a social network.
