Tbilisi. Georgian NGO and community organizations
will participate in the small grants program, which aims at supporting the
environmental initiatives. Total budget of the program is 750 thousand US
dollars.
The
small grants program will support priority areas such as biodiversity
conservation, climate change, international waters, land degradation, chemical
substances and waste.
The
small grants program is implemented by the UN Development Program (UNDP) in
Georgia with funding from the Global Environmental Fund (GEF) and in
partnership with the Ministry of Environment of Georgia.
