Kutaisi.On March 27, NGOs have met with the representatives of
the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.At the
meeting the parties have discussed amendments to the Imprisonment Code, public
monitoring over penitentiary institutions, amendments to be made to the
Criminal Procedure Code, the Criminal Code and the Law on Probation.
Representatives of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee have
concurred with the number of recommendations of NGOs on the examined issues.The
