Statistical Analysis of Information Obtained from Public
Tbilisi. The Institute for
the Development of Freedom of Information has released the statistical analysis
of public information obtained during 9 months as part of the project
"Public Information Data Base". The Institute "has addressed
over 9 months 224 public institutions with 2441 requests for information, out
of which the Institute has received full response to its 1525 applications. Out
of 2441 requests filed by the Institute, 294 requests were left without response,
194 incomplete responses were issued, 26 applications were rejected, and in 402
cases the institutions notified they did not possess requested information or
did not carry out concrete actions," says the released material.
