Tbilisi. Social Justice Center Appeals to Court to Suspend Construction of Namakhvani HPP and Revoke Construction Permit.
By the organization, ‘The construction permit was unjustifiably issued by the LEPL Technical and Construction Supervision Agency of the Ministry of Economy on April 22, 2020, with gross violations of legal requirements. According to a lawsuit filed by the Social Justice Center, the permitting agency grossly violated the requirements of the law and issued a construction permit without proper justification on an exceptional basis'.
