Trainings for volunteers in the framework of “Mestumre”
Tbilisi. 60 volunteers will become companions for the elderly.
“Mestumre will last for six months and will involve beneficiaries from eight elderly houses around Georgia. The volunteers will receive extensive training from MAC Georgia's Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, and Special Education Coordinator over the course of a month. The training will provide the volunteers with all of the necessary skills to ensure that their interactions with the elderly are both pleasant and efficient during the project”.
