Administration of Municipal Costs
Adjara. On July 14, the
"Civic Advisers' Committee" and the City Hall and Sakrebulo of the
self-governing city Batumi have jointly organized in the Batumi Civic
Engagement Center the public meeting on the topic: "Uniform administration
of municipal costs". Invited to the meeting were the representatives of
the civil society and the communal apartment partnerships. They have discussed
the new system of local municipal duties, which was put into effect from June
of the current year. Based on the 21 May 2012 Order of the Sakrebulo of the
self-governing city Batumi, the program "Uniform administration of
municipal costs" was approved, which aims to procure the service of
payment of cleaning fees through the uniform integrated and coordinated system
of payers of local fees for cleaning the settled territory at the scale of
Batumi, as well as to introduce the flexible and effective principle of paying
the municipal costs, and improve and regularly update the information data
bases.
The meeting was held in a lively and
debating regime. The attendees received answers from competent persons to all
questions of concern.
