Imereti. On May 30-31 and on June 3-4, training was delivered to the members of the maintenance teams established within the Homeowners Associations in the frames of the 4th component of NEO program in Kutaisi City Hall. Representatives of 7 collective centers have attended the training till now and by the end of June the members of the maintenance teams established throughout 28 collective centers in West Georgia will be provided with the training.The following topics are covered by the training: maintenance teams and their role in Homeowners’/Tenants’ Associations; the constituent parts of the settlement; maintenance instructions; safety settlement; regular inspection of the condition of the building, the schedule, the qualification; carrying out easy repair works; besides the required professional tools will be selected during the training.The responsibility of the maintenance teams is to maintain their buildings and surrounding areas with the use of the professional tools provided by CHCA in the frames of USAID/NEO program. Most of the group members were selected in the frames of the project according to their technical qualifications.
