Shida Kartli. On 7th, Society
Biliki submitted implemented work report of 2012-2013, in the frames of Civil
Education and Teacher Training and Program (PH/International).
Civic clubs of 8 schools of Shida Kartli presented their own activities. The members of school civic clubs exposed several problems in the frames of the program. Planning advocacy companies, implementing different activities with the support of local Municipality and non-government sector lots of questions were solved in positive way.
Presentation of small grants’ results was also made. During last year 14 projects were financed in Shida Kartli that presented school initiatives, people’s right, health care, infrastructure improvement, relation with media, and development of school civic clubs.
Beside this public schools were named, which were selected on the base of competition and were manifested with complete package of techniques. Totally there are 9 schools in Shida Kartli in current year.
People and organizations that supported program for its implementation in the reporting period were manifested with presents.
The event was attended by the representatives of local Municipality and educational recourse center, the directors of partner public schools and civic education teachers.
Civil Education and Teacher Training Program has been implemented since 2010 in whole Georgia, with the support of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Society Biliki is the partner of the program in Shida Kartli. In the frames of the project organization collaborates with 55 public schools.
