Tbilisi. June 25 Civil Society Institute awarded the journalists that participated in the contest called Coverage of Social Issues. Up to 80 materials submitted by journalists between April 1-30, 2013, were evaluated by the jury comprised of 5 persons(Zviad Koridze, Davit Paichadze, Soso Simonishvili, Nana Sadjaia and Guram Tsibakhashvili). Journalist of the Liberali journal Lika Zakashvili got the first prize for the best article. The second prize for the same nomination went to another Liberali journalist Tsira Gvasalia, and the incentive prize was given to Salome Sigua and Ekaterine Lemonjava.No winner was named in the category of the best radio-story. With the decision of the jury, two prizes were given in this category to journalists of Radio Tavisupleba Eka Kevanishvili and Goga Aptsiauri.Journalist of TV Company Gurjaani Nino Samniashvili was given the first prize for preparation of the best TV-story.Civil Society Institute as well awarded Tinatin Kiguradze, the winner of the first place in the best photograph category, and Daro Sulakauri, the winner of the second place in the same category, and Giorgi Gogitashvili received the incentive prize.
