Svaneti. On August 2, the "GuramTikanadzeSvaneti Youth
Center" held the presentation of the project "Promotion of legal
forest management in the interests of the civil society" in the public
school of village Latali. The presentation was attended by up to 35
participants - representatives of local self-government, regional
administration, the Forestry Department, NGO sector, small entrepreneurs and
the interested population within the Latali community. The presentation
resulted in the debate.
The project "Promotion
of legal forest management in the interests of the civil society" is being
implemented since July. The project is funded as part of one of G-PAC's grant
projects "Citizens' Advocacy Grants".
