Kakheti. The civil
society organization Business-Center "Kakheti” has delivered the training on
August 18, Saturday in Telavi in the administrative-territorial arrangement of
Georgia. The training aimed at openly discussing the topic of concern to the
public.
Soso Mikeladze, the Director of Business-Center
"Kakheti”: "In this event, which openly discusses the topic of concern to the
public,
we have included the interested citizens of all ages. Our meeting
concerned the administrative-territorial arrangement of Georgia. Each
participant of the event had the opportunity to be actively involved in the
discussion, express his/her views and opinions: how beneficial is the current
administrative-territorial division of his/her country (municipality, region, center), what
would s/he change or improve for the establishment of good governance, etc.”
According
to the organizers, participation in similar events is especially important for
each active citizen in terms of expressing one’s own civil positions, raising
the level of civic education, developing the common democratic thinking and
forming the public orders.
