Tbilisi. As part of the EU Eastern Partnership Cultural Program "Development of Traditional Craft in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia - Developing a Uniform Platform", an international conference was held on September 26-28 in Tbilisi. Topic of the conference focused on innovative approach not only in terms of developing the cultural policies, but increasing the economic profitability in this sector as well, which will boost the employment and economic growth.

In parallel to the conference, to foster innovative approaches in the production of craft goods, the joint exhibition-contest of South Caucasian traditional craft works was organized with participation of 69 Georgian craft specialists.
