Tbilisi. We have the honor to inform you that the
non-governmental organization ECOVISION, within the frame of the SPARE
(School Project for Application of Resources and Energy) has started a new
media project – a weekly, environmental TV program for children – "ECOVISION”. Each broadcast
of "ECOVISION” will be dedicated to different environmental problems. The
broadcasts will be in a children’s talk-show format. In addition, each program
will include an educational part, environmental game, scientific experiment and
an interesting outdoor story. Each program will feature a children’s favourite
guest, who will speak about a particular environmental problem.
The main message of the program is to emphasize the
way children can make their contribution to the cause of environment
protection. That’s why the motto of the program is "Kids in action!”.
Moreover, "ECOVISION” aims to attract children’s favorite actors, TV
presenters, artists and musicians, who will share various environmental
problems and try to find solutions to these problems together with the
children. Fortunately, a number of celebrities have already responded to our
initiative. They declare that "Environment protection is not an option - it is
everyone's responsibility!”
The TV program "ECOVISION” will be broadcasted every Saturday, beginning on September 15, 2012, via the Children's TV
Channel "Enki-Benki”.
The project is co-financed by the Norwegian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German
Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
