Samtskhe-Javakheti. Representatives of the Health Promotion and Education Foundation have delivered a training on October 16 in the Akhaltsikhe Health Center on "Tuberculosis can be healed". Health specialists and members of non-governmental sector have attended the meeting.

According to the Head of the Foundation, the stigma that tuberculosis cannot be cured still exists among the society, owing to which persons affected by this disease are in most of the cases isolated. Training aimed at raising public awareness on the issue.
