Statement of Young Barristers on the Pension Reform
Tbilisi. "Young Barristers" have released the statement – "We have experience to assist the Government in the process of accumulating pension system". The organization hails the initiative of the Government of Georgia to launch one of the vital areas of social sector – the pension fund since 2014, and believes the introduction of an accumulating pension system is a step towards fulfillment of pre-election promises. "We, "Young Barristers" believe it is necessary that Georgian citizens are fully informed about the importance of introducing an accumulating pension system in Georgia and the benefits of such system in various countries. The organization offers assistance to the Government of Georgia in this respect and in terms of civil awareness plans to cooperate closely again with various donor organizations", the statement says.
