Exhibition ‘’Outside of Bars’’
Samtskhe-Javakheti. An exhibition-sale of works of former inmates was organized on October 18 in the exhibition hall of the Akhaltsikhe Prison.
"Outside of Bars" - an exhibition bearing this title was organized by the Samtskhe-Javakheti regional association "Tolerant", as part of the EU-funded project "Promoting the Integration in Society and Rehabilitation of Former Inmates in the Samtskhe-Javakheti Region".
Embroidered icons, various felt works, paintings, wood items, jewels - over 80 works were displayed at the exhibition-sale, produced by authors over five months.
The exhibition-sale was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance, EU, international organizations and CSOs, which work in prisons for years.
