Training-Seminar in the Model UN
Imereti. A training-seminar "Model UN" was organized on October 26 for the members of the Kutaisi Youth Center. Representative of the UN Association of Georgia has led the course.
The education course organized for the members of the Youth Center was entirely dedicated to issues related to UN modeling. The following topics were covered: UN and its history, welcoming speech, advice on the welcoming speeches, what is the position statement, how should it be written, rules for submitting the position statement, resolution and procedures for drafting it, as well as regulations for the UN General Assembly sessions.
Training-seminar was organized as part of the "Advancing National Integration in Georgia" project (ANI), implemented by the UN Association of Georgia (UNAG), with support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
