Media Monitoring of Coverage of Parliamentary Elections
Tbilisi. The Human Rights Center has released
the report on media monitoring of coverage of parliamentary elections. During
the period of 30 July - 12 August the monitors have observed the political and
social ads aired on the following television channels: Public Broadcaster,
Imedi, Rustavi 2, Kavkasia, Maestro and 9th Channel.
Media monitoring is carried out within the framework of
four-year project funded by the United States Agency for International
Development (USAID) -
"Building Trust towards Electoral Processes", which is implemented by
the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
