Tbilisi. The UN Women's organization has presented the preliminary results of the study of the civil society capacity to CSOs working on women's issues. The study – "Civil Society Capacity in the Issues of Evidence-Based Advocacy and Gender Integration in the Social Policy" – has covered 41 organization operating in Tbilisi and 9 regions of Georgia working on the gender equality issues.
The study aimed to evaluate the capacity of the civil society, identify the needs of organizations, describe successful examples of advocacy and develop recommendations for the evidence-based advocacy training module in the future.
