Freedom of Information – Manual for Public Institutions
Tbilisi. As part of the USAID-funded "Good Governance in Georgia" (G3) program, the Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has published for public institutions a manual on freedom of information.
The manual explains in detail what is public information, what are the obligations of public institutions, what type of information can be restricted and which terms should they observe when issuing the information.
The manual will be distributed among public institutions in the near future.
