“First Step” Starts Updating In-House Care Program Databases

Tbilisi. As part of the In-House Care Program, CSO "First Step" started updating the database of children and adolescents with grave and profound disabilities under the age of 18 years  from socially unprotected families, in order to provide required services to them.Since 2007, "First Step Georgia" implements an in-house care program in Tbilisi, which aims to take care of children in the families, strengthen the families, improve the quality of a child's and family's life, form skills required for independent life, organize a social environment, and promote social integration in the society. A multidisciplinary team consisting of 5 specialists serves the children and their families as part of the Program.
