Tbilisi. The Human Rights Education and Monitoring
Center has released TatuliChubabria's blog post "Promoting equal
opportunities under the EU Association Agreement". "Within the scope
of initialed Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia, Georgia
undertakes an obligation within from three to eight years to carry out
significant reforms to promote employment and social and equal opportunities.
The state must facilitate the development of an employment policy and
protection of health and safety on working places; take care of social
dialogue, assistance and inclusion; eliminate gender inequality and discrimination;
further, it must increase social responsibility among the businesses, by which
it will improve the working environment, reduce poverty, increase social
well-being, promote sustainable development and raise the level of life,"
says the blog post.
