Transparency International
– Georgia has released explanations in the social network concerning the web
page of parliamentary monitoring. "Several media outlets have disseminated
information on the attendance of MPs based on our parliamentary monitoring web
page chemiparlamenti.ge.
Media outlets were pointing out non-attendance of plenary sessions by the MPs
on numerous occasions or by 100%. We would like to explain that chemiparlamenti.ge
connects to several official databases. Currently information on the web site
is being updated automatically, which, as it turned out, has resulted in a
technical problem and deletion of part of information from the web page. At
this stage we can certainly state that the data are deleted in respect of MPs
with 100% of non-attendance (Malkhaz Tsereteli, Shalva Kiknavelidze, Gogi
Ochiauri and Goderdzi Bukia). To remedy the flaw, the web page is currently
offline. We are sorry for the confusion caused. In the near future information
on our web site will be fully updated and chemiparlamenti.ge
will be back for users in full order,” says the organization’s page.
