Tbilisi. Tbilisi City Court has satisfied Media.ge lawsuit.  Tbilisi Municipality has been obliged to satisfy the request of the publication and issue public information from 2003 until the date of request on funds transferred to televisions and radios.  In addition, according to court verdict, the Municipality is obliged to compensate the lawsuit state fee paid by the publication.  The given verdict was made by Judge Natia Buskadze at 20 January 2014 trial.

Media.ge Chief Editor Maia Tsiklauri lodged lawsuit to Tbilisi City Court 11 June 2013.  First, preparatory hearing of the given dispute was held 18 November 2013.  At one of the first hearings Court obliged Tbilisi Municipality to present evidences on whether or not requested information was archived in the Municipality.  Due to the fact that the Municipality failed to provide such information to the Court, the trial was postponed several times.
