“Knowledge and Attitudes towards the EU in Georgia: Trends and Variations 2009 – 2013”
Tbilisi. On January
21, Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) is holding a
presentation of the survey report: Knowledge and Attitudes towards the
EU in Georgia: Trends and Variations 2009 – 2013.The report presents the results of a study into the Georgian
citizens’ knowledge of and attitudes towards the European Union. The current survey was commissioned by Eurasia Partnership
Foundation and conducted by CRRC Georgia. Unlike the
2009 and 2011 surveys, the recent wave included interviews in Kvemo Kartli,
Samtskhe-Javakheti, and Kakheti conducted in the minority languages of Armenian
and Azerbaijani, so as to provide information about the main cleavages in
priorities and attitudes between Georgia’s ethnic minority and ethnic majority
population.
