Tbilisi. Within the framework of the University
Support Grant Project the "East-West Management Institute" has
revealed three winner universities. Gori Technical University has received the
grant for a five-month project, which aims at developing the students' skills
of qualitative and quantitative research through respective training-courses
and integrating this course in the curriculum of the public policy
administration and other neighboring courses; GrigolRobakidze University was
funded for the six-month project, which aims to develop the energy policy
course for the MA course in management of power resources; Tbilisi State
University was funded for the development of curriculum for the mental health
policy course and organization of one-day conference on mental health related
issues in Georgia.
Grants supporting the higher education
institutions are issued to any university of Georgia in order to assist them in
the improvement of quality of curricula concerning the public policy
administration.
