Adjara. A rally in Ukraine's support was held on January23 in Batumi in the "Rose Garden" at the initiative of local CSOs. Civil sector, students and active citizens have protested against facts of violence in Ukraine, condemned the position of Ukraine's government and urged them to secure peace. According to the rally participants, a peaceful rally turned into a bloodshed will seriously damage the country's image at international stage and it is crucial that the authorities and rally participants acknowledge this and sit down at the table of negotiations.
