Transparency International - Georgian Releases Report
Tbilisi. On September 12 "Transparency
International - Georgia" has released the new report on the "Analysis
of Pre-Election Processes". The report evaluates the pre-election
environment in Georgia from October 2011 until August 2012. The report consists
of four chapters. The first chapter covers the use of the state legal resources
for political and electoral purposes, second chapter describes the facts of
political intimidation, third chapter concerns the use of the state
institutional resources for political and electoral purposes, and the fourth
chapter analyses the voter bribing cases.
The "Analysis of Pre-Election
Processes" was drafted within the framework of project "Transparent
and Accountable Finance in Georgia". "Transparency International -
Georgia" will release two additional reports during the pre-election
period.
