Polit-Barometer
Tbilisi. The Innovative Education Foundation, in partnership
with the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung has developed the web page politbarometri.ge
as part of the project "Georgian Political Barometer".
It aims to facilitate the formation of
voters' positions towards the issues of concern to the public during the period
of parliamentary elections. In addition, the project will help citizens to
comprehend the ideologies and views of political parties.
The pilot online
questionnaire of Polit-Barometer includes 28 provisions, which, after answering the leading
questions (on the "fully agree - fully disagree" scale), are compared
to the answers of the political parties, based on which their percentage
coincidence is calculated and they are visualized on a political landscape.
The project was
elaborated in partnership with the political parties and with participation of
experts from various areas. Methodology of the similar project implemented
during the 2009 elections of the EU Parliament is applied in Polit-Barometer.
