Tbilisi. Georgian Young Lawyers' Association released a statement about the video footage released through social networks concerning Mukhrovani riot. "...After determining authenticity of the released footage, investigation should conclude how the special operation was planned, how it was implemented and whether it aimed execution of human lives. Investigation should be conducted in all directions and it has to determine not only Vano Merabishvili’s culpability, but also the signs of offence in other individuals’ conduct recoded on the video.  It should be noted as well that lawfulness and reasonability of guilty verdicts in terms of participants of Mukhrovani riot were always questioned. However, the special operation planned in advance by the state against an individual, should aim avoidance of fatal results, notwithstanding the gravity of the committed offence. In addition, all efforts should be directed for detention of the alleged criminals with a view to bring them to justice and deprivation of life shall in no case be intend of the special operation", says the statement.
