Round Table – ‘’Gender, Woman and Elections’’
Guria. On September 12 the office of the Union of Democratic
Development of Georgia has hosted the round table on "Gender, Woman and
Elections".
The meeting
aimed at identifying the problems and stereotypes preventing the gender
equality policies in Georgia and its regions and the ways of their solution.
Representatives
of local CSOs from Ozurgeti, state institutions and political parties, as well
as various social groups, ethnic minorities and local media have participated
in the meeting.
Round
table was organized as part of the project of the "Association of Young
Teachers and Psychologists" – "Building Trust towards Electoral
Processes".
