Caucasus in Short Notes and Photographs

Tbilisi. A book presentation and an exhibition by the Polish photographer Justyna Mielnikiewicz will be held on February 22nd, at 18:00, in the Literature Museum (Add: G. Tchanturia St. 8).
Title of the book: "Women with a Monkey - Caucasus in Short Notes and Photographs"
This book, as Justyna says, is her story of eight years experiencing life in Caucasus. During her journey she witnessed many important events, including the Rose Revolution and the August War. Her impressions are reported in this book and exhibition.
"This is not just a short resume on the Caucasus, but also a collection of my research on wonderful place. However, no matter how carefully I have studied it, more questions have been left unanswered... "Woman with a Monkey" - is my tribute to a wonderful place that became my second homeland and I'll spare no effort to perceive its real beauty" - says Justyna.
The exhibition is supported by the Open Society Georgia Foundation, the Literature Museum and the Tbilisi Photo Festival.
