Exhibition on Political Prisoner Women of the Soviet Period
Tbilisi.
The
society "Memorial" and the Institute for the Development of Freedom
of Information have organized an exhibition on political prisoner women of the
Soviet Period in front of the former Parliament building to commemorate the day
of Georgia's Sovietization. Exhibited are the lists and photos of victims of
persecutions, works created by the political prisoner women in the prison
cells, as well as their letters. Descendants of persecution victims and
citizens honor the victims of the regime and adorn their photos with flowers.
