Kakheti. As part of working on the strategy of development of the Kakheti Region, the civil society organization "Civil Society Research and Development Center" has held a meeting on September 18 in the Telavi Civic Engagement Center.

The environmental infrastructure in the region was a topic of the meeting. According to the expert Kakha Sukhitashvili, the representatives of the Infrastructure and Supervision Services of the Gamgeobas of all eight municipalities of the Region have attended the meeting.

"The meeting aimed at collecting exhaustive information on the environmental infrastructure and its state, what has been done, what is planned and what has to be done. Based on the collected information we will be able to analyze the existing situation and develop recommendations, which will be tailored to a maximum  extent to the current situation and the challenges persisting in the region in this respect", - says Kakha Sukhitashvili.
